About Michael Kerzner
Michael Kerzner is proud to be serving as MPP for York Centre. As a lifelong conservative, a 25+ year resident of York Centre along with his family and an entrepreneur in the technology and bioscience fields, he is honoured to have been elected to be the voice of the people on York Centre on June 2, 2022.
After seeing the impact of the pandemic on our small businesses, health care and education system, Michael knew it was time to take the next step in his community involvement and put his name forward for public office with the hopes to be able to influence government policy to support the priorities of the York Centre community.
As the proud voice for the people of York Centre and Downsview and Ontario’s Jewish community, some key priorities for Michael include fighting anti-semitism, for public safety, working to enhance Ontario’s education, health care and transportation system. Locally, Michael is advocating to ensure our two local hospitals, Humber River and North York General Hospitals’ Branson site are able to receive more investments, the long-awaited community centre is built at Keele Ave and Wilson Ave and that the Bombardier Runway Lands is properly utilized to ensure there is a place for everyone to live while also respecting our greenspace and the neighbourhood surrounding.
In addition to being the voice for the people of York Centre at Queen’s Park, Michael is proud to have a seat at Ontario’s Cabinet table as the Solicitor General, a role he was appointed to on June 24, 2022 with a mandate of improving our provinces public safety for all Ontarians.
